Web FTP – What is this and How to use it?

The Web FTP is browser-based FTP in Internet Explorer. In order to use it try to input one of the following URLs into your Internet Explorer Address Bar. Don’t forget to replace the credentials with your actual account information.

ftp://yourusername:yourpassword@serverIPaddress/

- or -

ftp://yourusername:yourpassword @yourdomain.com/

Your may find server IP address in the cPanel's "Home page". It is listed in the left column as a "Dedicated IP Address". Click "expand stats" link if you don't see it.
The Web FTP will work only with your main FTP account. This will not work with addon domains, subdomains or additionally created FTP accounts. For these accounts you must use an FTP program.
